Ingredients:

  • 250g rolled oats

  • 1 mashed banana

  • 80g chopped up pecans

  • 80g chopped up walnuts

  • 20g sunflower seeds

  • 20g sesame seeds

  • 20g pumpkin seeds

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 50g honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and line a tray with baking paper.

  2. Add the oats, pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and salt to a big bowl and set aside.

  3. In a separate smaller bowl, add the mashed banana, coconut oil, honey and vanilla extract and combine.

  4. Add to the big bowl and mix until all the ingredients are combined.

  5. Spread the granola evenly on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until the granola is golden brown. Mix once halfway.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.

  7. Transfer to a airtight container or a jar and store for up to 2 weeks.
